Cards and cards and cards!
I worry what people think when they look at my gallery and see cards and cards and cards, but these things are so much fun and so easy to bang out, plus they're cheap to commission.
So...
First card is Kittybird, AKA
Karika_T_Imazi. There are gems on her forehead and in her ears, and the box and background are all done in glittergelpen. Bling bling bling!
Next, to celebrate my Half Life playing, I drew Gen getting nommed on by a headcrab. This is probably Lamar considering all he's doing is annoying her. (This card is for sale, by the by).
Next is a random Siamese cat offering some Sake. I just wanted to draw a Siamese cat. And this card is also for sale.
Next is what started as a random bunny but everyone told me it looked like
witchiebunny so I turned it into her. This card has a lot of glittery effects with blue magic and sparkly reflections from it.
After that is Three in what was an experiment. I saw an artist color the entire background with a light tan and then build up the color on top of it all with Copics. It gives it a soft sort of look that I may do again sometime, but I dunno if I'll try the technique out on every card. Still if I want a soft dreamy effect I'll definitively give it a try. (also, this shows the blendability of the copics and why I love them so much even though they're face eating expensive) This card is for sale.
After Three is Irma nomming on a grape. We had gone to a winery that day and the rats got spoiled by houseguests so I did this card to commemorate. This card is for sale.
Next is
isfacat demonstrating the two primary skills needed for proper adventure gaming. Pointing and clicking. I tried to do the coloring and shading all evil and ominous here, and I hope that hand looks okay. I suggested that the switch turns off the light and summons one of the monsters from Amnesia, but people were... um... slightly unsupportive of that idea.
And finally we have
angelpuss commissioned by
KitSkyfire (which is why there's a little squirrel in the lower right. She's a white cat with wings that has blue hilights in her fur. I used sparkly gelpen for the dark blue hilights.
These are all Copic (and Shinhan) markers on 2.5 x 3.5 pieces of illustration board with some gelpen for sparkly effects and hilights. I also ink in Sepia instead of black for the cards as I like the effect it gives them.

I REALLY like the one done of
isfacat The facial expression, the perspective on the pointing paw... It just looks great!

Either Kittybird's box used to contain a twin bed or it's bigger on the inside than on the outside. This requires further investigation, but first I need a live Kittybird specimen (felis avius).
In the thumbnail, I honestly thought that the headcrab looked like a rat. Even now, I'd still have to say that this is Irma in headcrab form. Gen here looks not so much annoyed but really freaked out, as though she's about ready to swat it off her shoulder shouting "Get it off me!", along with a few obscenities.
