Ijeng temples (Ijeng: meisanait) vary wildly in size and appearance. These are small temples to Lady Shu'ai and Lord Adaw, respectively the goddess of victory/the state, and the god of travel/foreigners/diplomacy. The temple to Adaw (right) is styled superficially like a Datun temple– the god is depicted as being of Datun rather than Ijeng ethnicity. In designing them, I initially leaned heavily on Greco-Roman temples, but future designs will incorporate other influences.
