For day 24 of Monster Month I decided to draw a character from the anime Natsume Yujin-Cho, also known as Natsume's book of friends, and this halloween oreo looking ass cat is Madara. The interesting thing about this anime/manga series is that it's actually monster collecting in reverse, see the collecting is already done, our MC- Natsume has a grandmother named Reiko who has managed to obtain the names of a number of yokai and demons, and having the name of a yokai means having power over it, making Reiko's "Book of friends" incredibly powerful and sought after. This leaves Natsume to encounter yokai in his day-to-day life and use the book to return their names and set them free, though along the way he has Madara to help him out, who can thankfully turn into a much larger and more intimidating cat, I really need to finish this series at some point.
