First page of a new sketchbook. Every time I've started up a new sketchbook, I've made the first page something of a "this is who's book this is" page. It had always been a two-character entry before, both Phoenix and Terika. This time I wanted it to be just Phoenix, the "real" me.

I've been rather obsessed with thoughts of flight this last year, so of course I wanted to do something a bit more in that theme. Also, a continued bit of tweaking to the appearance with the wing "hand" joint, trying something different to see if it works better. Though the kinda weak foreshortening attempt didn't really help much with that experiment.
