Honestly, TotK should have ended with Zelda having SOME traces of dragon still on her. Like, they went on about how it's impossible for her to turn back, so she should have had something stick around after, even if it was just a patch of scales or tiny horns. Like, not even saying that as a "Oh man, dragon girl, Mmmmmm" kink thing, but like, story wise they kept saying how going dragon was a one way trip, and them it's just "Lol, nvm!"
Yeah, it definitely should have had visual consequences for doing something that reckless. As a way to show that not everything is fine after breaking a sacred rule to get divine power and all that.
That's why I decided to take this as head cannon because it makes total narrative sense xD
