In ancient times, there was a dragon bound to the night, its scales darker than shadows, blending seamlessly with the starless skies. Feared and revered, it ruled over the midnight hours, its wings stirring the winds of twilight. It was said to guard the boundary between the living and the dead, patrolling the edges of the world where spirits lingered. One fateful night, a group of sorcerers sought to control the dragon’s power, binding it to their dark rituals. But their magic backfired, trapping the dragon in a spectral form, neither alive nor fully dead. From that moment, it became a ghostly figure, gliding silently through the night like a wraith. Only seen when the moon is hidden, it now haunts the skies, forever searching for the ones who doomed it to its cursed existence. Its presence is marked by a chill in the air and a faint, otherworldly glow that lingers just beyond the edge of vision.
