This is Joey's long-lost sister.

After being separated from Joey during a werewolf attack, Annie was the only family member to survive the assault while Joey ran off after being bitten. With no relatives to take her in, one of her friends' families adopted her. Although the events she witnessed were real, no one believed her—not even her friends. After exhausting every resource she could find for proof to no avail, the stress caused her to block the incident from her mind. As Annie grew up, she developed a fascination with the occult and all things supernatural. She eventually became a paranormal investigator, working alongside several groups of ghost hunters. When asked why she chose this profession, aside from financial reasons, Annie wasn't really sure what led to this decision. Perhaps in her subconscious, she was still looking for proof that monsters exist.

During one fateful investigation in a derelict cabin, Annie stumbled upon a shrine that, according to her research, was meant to summon lost souls back to the living. Thinking it wasn't active, she took a closer look, seeing that it was just a normal-looking mirror. Upon closer inspection, the reflection was warped, rippling like water. Suddenly, something emerged from the reflection, and Annie blacked out. When she came to, she was alone outside, and the cabin had burned down. None of the ghost hunters were there. To her shock, she was firmly holding a firearm in her hand. As she stood up, she heard a voice in her head—not her own. It warned that her days were numbered and that she would become its vessel. She was possessed.

Even though she still has full control of herself, she knows that she must get rid of the spirit within her before it's too late. Now, with no one to help her and the sudden feeling of being watched, Annie races against the clock to solve this mystery.
