Yay! Finished! It's none other than
DragonMyr!! :D
This is my very first fat dragon artwork. I don't really know if I'd make anymore artwork like this, since it's really not my style of work. But since Myr is a pretty fat dragon, I thought I should try it out. :) I'm actually quite pleased with it. I also went with markers cuz of his colour style. It would've been a little hard with the lighting/shadowing with his darker colours being on top and the lighter colours being on the bottom, especially with pencils. So I tried my Prismacolor pens, and while I still need more practice, it doesn't look too bad. I did add some pencil in there.
I themed him with food. It just seemd like the right thing for a fat dragon who loves food. :P I was originally gonna draw him turning his head the other direction, sniffing the air, but I thought that would be too boring, so I have him lounging around slowly licking up a bowl of extra buttery popcorn. :) You better not be getting full, Myr! You still have a lot more to go!

Geez I go to my other gallery and I come back in a few minutes and I'm bombarded with new messages! O.-.O Yeep!
Well, he is a fat dragon. :3 Originally he wasn't (back when I knew him looong time ago), but Myr is into fat furries and scalies, and draws them quite well. :)
Thank you! :D

Heh, I'm so used to making lean, lithe but slightly muscular dragons...not so much fat and obese dragons. ^.-.^;; For a first-time drawing, it didn't turn out that bad. :)
And I am a sucker for detail. :P Although sometimes that horrible disease called Lazyness hits every once in a while and I won't add much detail...like how I didn't draw in his other wing! Argh! I just noticed! >.-.<

The way the donuts are around my tail spike, how my tongue is wrapped around the popcorn, the height of those stacks of dishes, and all the little treats and meals around me makes this pic as filling for the belly as it is for the eyes. ;) Great pic! *pouncesnuggles and tries not to flatten you* Thanks so much for drawing this! =D
The contrast between my middle and the rest of me plus the way I'm laying adds weight to the pic, and I love that. For a first fat pic this is really impressive! Only point of advise I'd have is to bulk up the upper and lower body too. Dragons that eat a lot, like me, tend to carry weight all over. >^.=.^<;; I don't look so big that I can't move, but I'm getting to that point. That's the sweet spot for me. Pics that show that always get me a bit yiffy *blushes and purrs quietly* Great job!

Yeep! *pouncesnuggled* ^.-.^ Yay! I'm glad you like it!
I was gonna draw more foods, but my brain was going numb and I had to finish up a few other drawings for others. Otherwise I would've drawn a few pies, maybe a few racks of lamb...
Thank you so much. :) Draw obese things is a definate first, but it is in a way getting me to new horizons with my work. :)
I was going to add more fat, but I wasn't sure how to draw it out without making it look fake or sloppy, so intead I just put muscle instead. That's my only excuse of not adding fat in other places. :P
Speaking of being really full and yiffiness...I remember watching on tv a long time ago about these two sharks (male and female) were gorging on a dead whale. The male was so full that he, well, got a bit "turned on." The female wasn't interested, but when you mentioned that, it reminded me of that male shark. X3 heh heh...

Heh, you just made me laugh. XD
Thank you very much! :D And I am rather proud of myself, cuz I worked hard on this, and I really payed attention to what I was doing. I would've added more detail like some of my pencilwork, but I thought that I would ruin it, so I kept it simple yet somewhat detailed. :)

*jaw drops and eyes got really big* Oh WOW, STAR You've out done yourself. I mean if I tried to draw a fat dragon it would look like a ball with tiny legs and a stumpy tail and head. ^_^' Can't do beings just landscapes. Remember the time I show'ed you how I draw someone and you did it much better then me? well my dragons would be worse then that. Keep it up sis.
Heh, tank yooo. ^.-.^
Well, just look around the Fat Furry section and you'll actually find some fat furries (and scalies) who look pretty much like a blimp with a tiny head hands, feet and tail, and sometimes wings. :P
Meh, that human I drew looked like she had a humpback! D: It was horrible... Well, before you ever saw my artwork my dragons looked like green-and-yellow snakes with fork-like hands, feet, stick-like wings and black eyes. It took a very looong time to get where I'm at now. Plus with a lot of determination and less self-critiquing.
Oh, and talking about out-doing myself, wait 'till you see Kalen's request. ;) His I REALLY out-done myself.

LOL I just might look in to that.
Yours did not she looked more human and less the mis shappen head thing I made her look like.
Well that's why I stick with writing, I mean really sure I'ed love to swap art with you only if we did Star would look like a stick figure dragon or worse. So I'll give you landscapes for your dragons and it can be a co thing ok.
...What do you mean? is he drawing you or are you drawing him???? I can't wait for tonight. ;) >:) X3

Heh, yeah it kinda does. :P
It took me so many years to get my talents to this point. And I'm still trying to make myself better, like some of the other great artists out there.
And yup, I did this with marker. :) I want to learn how to use marker, since I already know how to use pencil.

fer being a first-timer its a preety great pic! you lucky ya can get Prisma markers, i heard they cost around $3.50 each, but the way they color is great as i can see that! I do hope you change yer mind about not making other pics like these, you got a nice style going on! keep it up! i'm rooting for ya!
Thanks a lot! :D Yeah, I bought a huge set of Prisma markers, costing me somewhere close to $200! O.-.O But I'm glad I have them. :) They're great pens, the only thing I don't like is that they...what's the word I want to use...flood? They're just like permanent markers, where the moment it touches the paper, it starts to leak everywhere. So I'm trying to master these pens so I won't have messy drawings.
I'm kinda hesitant on drawing more obese pictures, and I think the reason why is because I work in a hospital where everyday I'd see a diabetic patient that either has bulging appendages or are just huge alltogether. They kinda scare me, especially the ones who have bulging legs and stomaches, with some of them weighing 300 to almost 500 pounds... D: I might be able to draw maybe a few more obese pictures, but it won't be often...so that's my excuse. >.-.>

O.=.O||| oh okeh, well btw, my grandma has diabetes yet she weights like..umm...i think she said less than me XD then again i weigh around 240lbs for my large size(not in width fyi)well, hopefully you will draw some pics but later once you are back to normal or somethin kay?
Why thank you! :D I'm still mastering pens, but if everyone says I did a good job, then I must be doing a well with penwork. :)
The last poses I was going to work with him weren't working out (sitting up, standing on fours...). Laying down just seemed the right pose. :P
