In the original story, a caste system was extremely prevalent in almost all facets of society, with animals of 'predictable behavior' being given the moral right to rule over those 'unpredictable' This being their burden to rule over groups seen as 'too unscrupulous to rule themselves'.

A major facet of the story was the end of the Kastic system. Destroyed by its own caste infighting, and in turn causing the chaos that would allow a man like Wyatt to rise to power later on. It was meant to be a criticism of how we view morality and authority. But this was one of the major reasons I decided to retire this webseries as I felt the story too depressing, and myself not clever enough to write such themes.

Regardless. This takes place from the perspective of a feline who eventally lights the powder keg that leads to the end of the "Last Civilized Frontier"
