No, I'm not actually back. Soon my faithful followers sooooooooon I must finish this first, for it is after all, homework.
Being done in Blender for my Beginning Computer Modeling and Animation class this quarter; he's the final project assignment (to create a game or movie character model). He still needs to have the rest of his body, given some definition in his blockyblock chest and arms, have his hood blended in more to his back/neck/head and then textured.
Overall, this as taken me 8+ hours of work.
Over-overall, I hate my life.
Overthat-overall, I should have picked a different career path.

xD Once you get the hang of topology, you'll be fine. C: I like to point-model, personally... Not a huge fan of box-modeling. I like to be very specific as to where I put my points... ;o Most of my first attempts looked so bad I wouldn't even wanna show them. xD

It's 3D modeling software. Think Pixar (of Wall-e fame) like arts.

I posted about the same time as Lady_Moonpelt but I was just answering your question. The software is called Blender (link above) and you can use it to make 3D art works, up to and including 3D CGI movies like Disney's Wall-e, the Incredibles and so on. Pixar is the company that made the films I mentioned.
