I didn't have a lot of options for food when I was way out on the far end of town, but the Dragon Palace building really stood out and they said they had sushi, so I decided to check it out. I got this salmon roll which is seared salmon on a roll stuffed with raw salmon and avocado. I really loved the presentation and the ridiculously long plate so I took a photo and the photo turned out REALLY nice so I'm posting it here.
I had a hard time eating this, sadly. Not that it tasted bad or anything, but the conflicting textures between the seared salmon and raw salmon did not make my mouth happy. I'd die and go to heaven if someone made a roll like this but stuffed with tempura shrimp instead of salmon.

I recently found out I have Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder and it's such a bummer because I can like something but my brain will suddenly mid-chew go "ew texture" or "ew flavor" or both, and then I have to fight the gag reflex and try not to spit out my food. T-T
;w;! Heck! Mine is just autism related! I used to enjoy certain foods, but can't eat them because they're... 'fuzzy' in texture, or have grit to them that I don't expect. Certain flavors also have changed over time for my likes too, like I can't enjoy beans I used to like anymore for both flavor and texture.
