“I stand before you just as a simple servant called on duty for our ancient state in its greatest time of need. It is because of the years of turmoil and neglect at the hooves of the decadent monarch that we had been forced to resort to drastic measures in order to protect the very nature of our realm. I could not sit idly in the academy and watch the flowers rustling in the wind, when the poor state, the homeland of my parents, descends into ruin and complacency. Through months of bitter work and many sacrifices by the countless devoted ponies we have managed to liberate our state from under the influence of our southern neighbour. However a long and treacherous path still lays ahead of the Crystal Empire. Vultures are already circling around our homeland, as because of Mi Amore's rule we were left demoralised and weak, in need of guidance and repair. It has been a difficult inner conflict but I have accepted the task given to me by the Grand Diet. Until the true heir to the Crystal Throne is found from among the crystal ponies, I shall serve as the Prince Regent and as a head of a new cabinet do everything in my power to disperse the clouds that are gathering above our empire. I accept the responsibility and all the burdens that come with it. I am at your disposal.”
