Something a little different. This art piece is of Amendelwyr and Veenaza's daughter, Emelyn. There will probably be more hatchling art in the future.
Finally, her wings leveled out as Emelyn squeaked in surprise. She was flying! She was really flying! Not gliding or falling gracefully from her parent's hindquarters, what she and her siblings did up to now. Now she was actually flying all on her own! She couldn't help but smile. Her golden scales flittering with the light from the branches above her.
"I'm flying!" She called out, hearing the cheers of her brothers and sisters. And the deep, thrumming rumble of her parent's joy, proud, midst the thick forest. She swiveled back and forth, daring to tilt her wings after a good flap to get more speed. Rising up and up... right into a thick net of leaves! "Ough!"
Her parents caught her happy self as she fell, still laughing and smiling. She would fly again soon.
