On the left is what these creatures normally look like. They have a tooth coming out of there head, and tail. Both of those spots also have venom glands that are very close. They have wings, but those are more for show if anything, they will rise them, and show the pink on them as a warning. The alphas are like that, but grow bigger, and have an extra tooth that comes out of their head and more beard hair. The alphas are very protective of their group with them letting the others eat first before they do, but in times of need the opposite has been know to happen. There sense of smell is 3X stronger than normal, with them being able to tell who is who from the ground with just smell. What makes them a alpha seems to be when they go through a physical change with this happening when they are adults, but only seem go through this, and one aspect that seems to be related is them taking care of the group with them parenting the entire group as a whole.
