I see many artists panicking about this twitter situation, and already posting links everywhere,
I feel is still early to make conclusions, and I'm not gonna leave twitter for now, but if you feel like, that site is not worth it anymore, there's other places where I post stuff,
Gotta say, I don't really like bsky, just for the same reasons I don't like twitter, but since artists insist so much on going there, I guess I may try and be a tad more active in there,
I just hope is not another case of artists moving massively to a new site massively to leave it a week later xP
FA is still where I'm more active and my main place, and IT'S AN ACTUAL ART SITE GOD DAMN

Imageboards are cool too, and helps to exposure, yet, some artists prefer to forbid their art to be posted on those sites, and don't offer alternatives where to watch their posts besides twitter either

I appreciate your dedication to actual art sites as opposed to social media. It's much easier for me to keep up with artists on FA and the fact that a lot of artists post exclusively to twitter boggles my mind. That being said, one huge upside of bluesky is RSS integration. Twitter dropped RSS feed compatibility when Elon took over, but bluesky still has it and I really appreciate that. I'll follow you over on bluesky to show my support for a move away from the cesspool that is Twitter, but I think it's awesome that you continue to use FA as your main art hosting site <3

Is hard to keep up with artists that only post on those sites, cuz plenty of their posts can be missed in timeline, and you have to navigate through thousands of memes and shitpost

As an artist I feel like this posting my art in multiple places thing is getting annoying. I only constantly post on two place and you can find my art there. I am on X and Bluesky but I am not on there often enough to pay attention. There is no need to stretch myself thin. I already do that with my music. If there is a art distribution service like with Distrokid or Tunecore for music then ok. But I still with the big 2 art sites in DA and FA.

Yeah, I understand, it can be annoying to manage multiple sites, but it's also a bad idea to rely only on one.
What I'd wish is to have better options than bluesky and twitter , those two actually suck for art, but for some reason, most artists prefer those over actual art sites :/
