You guys remember Richard Roberts' "Wild Children," right? I've spent the last few years doodling a pitch bible for an animated show of the thing that will in all likelihood never get made, but what a portfolio it'll be.
Anyway, here's the (spoiler) unnamed phoenix from "Pastoral Interlude With Flames," perched on the weathervane to sleep lest she burn the Baron's country house down.
There's tragedy in these lighted windows, kids.
