The request for this was to draw the character Scratte from the movie Ice Age 3 sitting in the reclining "Burt Reynolds" pose, but with her body proportions altered to be more human-like. That's fine and the resulting image still has an appeal I like but I tend to think that the original design works better with the stunted body length and bulkier hips and legs. Those proportions are a much better match to the exaggerated snout and tail. No matter, I enjoyed drawing this and even with the changes I still think this character is loads of fun to look at.
