Vegans are basically the PETA of food - they might've been decent at one point, but so many of them are extremists now they might as well all be.

I have no issues with vegans. They have the right to live as they wish. Every one I have met was malnutritious and weak. Their body, their choice. Live with the consequences.
Meanwhile I am doing some simple Hamburger Helper with extra ingredients. My body, my choice.

My sister (who was a Vegetarian until she tried to have a baby -- and failed) puts it this way.
The Vegetarian chooses not to eat meat. Some eat dairy, eggs or sometimes seafood.

Vrghr often wonders about the various Vegan options he finds at the local markets: Why do so many of them pretend to be MEAT?! Seems like a contradiction in philosophy! "I hate the idea of eating meat, so I'm going to eat this meat-like substitute instead." Why not eat something entirely unlike meat then?
On the other paw, maybe Vrghr is a Vegan after all. Wuff eats lots of veggies. He just processes them with a cow first. *grin*
