Contrail Navi was a proud member of the Sanctum NHP facility staff, notably working on several projects and assisting with locking multiple NHP instances within their caskets.
His enthusiasm and intimate knowledge of coding made him a valuable asset to the facility, and he had quite the long career ahead of him!
That is, until he decided to ruin it.
Contrail found a mech frame beneath the ice of the planet "Xaradios-2", which the facility was housed on. Here he'd smuggle resources from the facility to make an NHP outside of protocol. Upon being caught, he was questioned for his intent with these actions.
His service to the facility was considered, and the profit the facility could make off of the fully realized NHP was taken into mind.
The mech was dug out of the ice, repaired, and given to Contrail. His NHP would also be installed into the mech so it could improve organically... and because the facility feared that separating Contrail from the NHP may lead to a cascade.

Punishment for his crimes: Community service.
-Build up enough money to pay off the resources used in making his "Koios" NHP.

Regards his NHP in a fatherly manner
Has a strange fixation with classical music
Shows empathy towards various types of AI
Has a colorful way of speaking (ie. "Hello friend! I've got a trade offer for you: you surrender to us and we let you live!")

Heyo, been a minute!
A friend kinda got me into Lancer recently and, of course, my first character had to be an eldritch math hackerman. I absolutely love playing this lil' enthusiastic NHP dad.
