First art-trade of 2011! lol.
Of
and her man. I didn't quite nearly achieve the perspective depth I had hoped for, but I really tried my best. :c Not even afraid to admit I got the inspiration from (this) photo; with obvious alterations. And even though it looks like a "full" piece- it's my usual small bordered pieces, without the Sharpie border. You can see the size/lineart (here).

i absolutely ADORE this. i think you did a great job on the perspective. they look so sweet and peaceful laying there. neither one of us have even been to the beach, let alone relax under a palm tree, so this is a nice idea. i don't know why, but i love how he's got his hand on her thigh <3 so sweet.
and you did a fantastic job with Kujo considering the crap-tastic reference i sent you, haha. you're the first to draw both of them! xD now on to finish my half! thank you!
we both love it - this is my new desktop wallpaper, too :P <3
Besides thinking that this is an adorable and gorgeous (if it's okay to use those two words together) couple piece, my favorite part has to be the shadows cast from the fronds (as well as the fronds, the coloring looks great). Maybe I'm just a sucker for couple pieces because I love the posing of both Kittn and Kujo, it looks so natural and peaceful. :]
"even though it looks like a 'full' piece" - me thinks you should go for a full piece one of these days.
