I always wonder about fish TFs. If the transition from lungs to gills is instant or if there's a brief period where the TFee has neither, and they can't breathe.

I guess it depends on how hard you want to lean into body horror. Both would have lungs though, it would just depend on whether they're accessed through the gills or mouth/nostrils.
