Let me preface with 'I'm not good at drawing birds or fish' and I was getting real salty that I just couldn't get Alek's [canon] Feathersona to look right.
So he joked that instead of taking it seriously I should just make it look like a traditional sketch page in his journal which would be more accurate anyways since I don't imagine i'll be getting any art comm'd of Kale for a loooong while if ever anyways so I was like fuck it why not it'd be a fun challenge.

So I drew this all on one layer and instead of erasing/Ctrl+Z'ing I 'smudged' eraser like-energy into it and wrote a bunch of notes on it like I do on my traditional art! Fun!
I wanted to do the front facing one better but Alek told me it was much more accurate that he can only draw birds from weird not-front-on angles and liked my stupid turkeyleg look at it fits what *he* would draw.

all over turned a really frustrating experience into something silly and fun.

I won't ever publicly release a lot of his lore/backstory/rp stuff because i do not want people mischaracterizing my sonas again but it is fun to show little tidbits and enjoy brainstorming with my characters.
