A little something I decided to draw and record my progress with. At work I usually see sights like this while working on a room, and when I have some time to spare I like to take a moment to just look outward at the view and reflect on a good deal of my life. Even though I'm not dressed casually while at work, I still prefer to draw myself in casual wear.

There are so many different emotions I could see in this pic - longing, reflection (as you noted), maybe even a feeling of sadness, to name a few.
Yet, strange though it may sound, there's one other word that this pic also seems to convey to me: hope.
Maybe it's the color of the sky in combination with the skyline, but whatever the reason, there's something about this pic that seems to hint towards a better future.
Nonetheless, awesome job, Barrin. Keep it up. (highfive)

same here since I have a fear of heights. But I guess after cleaning so many rooms up on the 54th floor and whatnot I got used to it somewhat (except for the corner suites in the bathroom where I'm just about leaning on the window to clean around the tubs).
Definitely a solemn-looking pic you've drawn here, Barrin. The sunset scenery shown in the background really adds to that, in my opinion. Other than how you're representing yourself taking a moment to reflect upon things, both good and bad, I'm guessing you may also be thinking about near future in what's ahead for you, based what's gone on in your life so far.
Keep up the good work, as always. Hope everything's okay for you and for
strawberryxvodka as well. :)
