"They arrived at the restaurant at 5:20 and waited ten minutes to be seated. Then they sat down and ordered their drinks, Blinky ordered a club soda with a lime and a splash of cranberry, Myrtle ordered a ginger ale. There was live singing at the restaurant and as they waited for their drinks, they enjoyed listening to the Italian folk song being sung. Just then, the waiter arrived with their drinks and a breadbasket, and they placed their order, they both decided on pasta puttanesca. When their waiter left to put their order in, Myrtle remarked,

'I'm glad we have bread to eat this time instead of putting in our ears to drown out the noise of a talentless singer', referring to Daisy Dingo and her singing voice.

'Huh? Oh, yeah!' fumbled Blinky, 'Old Frog-Voice, well, thank goodness they're both gone for good!'

He was nervous, he had racing thoughts of what he was going to ask Myrtle after dinner and how she would react, he kept having to mop his head with his tablecloth. When they got their meals, they said grace and ate away.

'Mmmm, this sauce is nice and tangy,' said Blinky.

'Oh my, you're right!' agreed Myrtle, 'and likewise, the olives are quite tasty too' and they continued to dine contentedly."
