The winters in Claramont can be brutal, and unlike me Meri hates the cold. He can't always sneak his way into the barn at the village, and so he might try and find Mulberry with a terrified Peri in tow to convince (beg) for a place to hide from the cold. She doesn't like to give up her solitary spots, but maybe she can make an exception for a few nights; she doesn't wish to see the two freeze, after all.
