Pleased to share this beautifully designed sabercat by rednight!
I think perusing my gallery it comes as no surprise I like large felines and dragons. This must be sabertooth month, as I've homed another saberkitty. The last one was a hybrid creature... a sabertooth dragon. Then I came across this fellow, as I stumbled across rednight's gallery yesterday. There were four saberkitties up for adoption, with different patterns and colors, and I was smitten immediately with this one. They were available on Ko-Fi, and I'm like... please don't let that one be sold already! Lucky me; he was still available on Ko-Fi! Love his colors and markings, and I do love sabertooth tigers.
Named Tau'zi, you will be seeing more of him; there's already a commissioned art in-progress for him. I named him Tau after one of the stars in the Boötes constellation, called Tau Boötis (although Tau is simply a letter of the Greek alphabet). Thought he needed a bit more than just Tau... and I remembered a sci-fi show I loved, where humans were referred to as the Tau'ri... a little tweak, and here we have Tau'zi! :)
Thank you, Rednight, for this wonderfully designed saberkitty. Love him! Some day, it would be great to commission another art of him by you, as you do such awesome feline art!
