All right! the second part! THE ARCADE!!!!
We finally got out and over to the arcade... we had been planning to visit the arcade! I started off with a game of Hydro Thunder in suit.. the game was half broken but I still got 6th place! Kids just watched us... So then I took my quarters over to the shooting game... At first I couldnt tell the difference between civilians and regular people... oops! Well the second time I played I got a bit further... And Lightwings joined next to me playing another shooting game! she did much better than I did. I was blasting terrorists, she was blasting terroristic moose and deer... aparently.
At the end I only had one quarter.... I walked up to the camera girl
the-kitsune-cavalier and said "HERE!! Have a quarter!!" and handed it to her. I proceeded to try and cool off seeing as my body temperature felt like it was reaching critical level. I yapped at some kids, high fived a few, gave knuckles to some older ones...
When we got back to the campsite I pulled my head off, and relaxed... Unzipped the front zipper, but still felt hot. Husky, now headless, plugged in an air mattress blower with a force dryer tip on it started blowing cold air directly down my back... MY GOD DID IT FEEL GOOD! I took that and dried myself off. I do have video of that but I chose not to post it! :P
That night we went to the live band and dance.... What a sensory overload! Dark, cannot see ANYONE!! Just black shapes just about, hard to see people. Got to dancing, moving around... and tons of random pictures. Flashes went off like it was warfare!
We hugged some people! And some guy was dancing with this girl, stopped and quickly switched over to me, and we danced to the rock music together. We flailed around aimlessly moving to the music, before the guy moved on dancing with random people.
I had some people, 18-20 looking, ask me "What the hell are you?" I said "I am a Chimera!" and the guy went "NO WAY! THATS FUCKING AWESOME! That is WAY cooler than I thought!" we high fived and such and I crazyfur yapped and such at him and went right back to dancing around.
I had this group of little girls at the dance... for some reason, wanted to tug my tail. They kept doing it, and I had to keep shaking my finger at them. And when I went to high five a little kid who looked like he barely learned how to walk, I got a sharp BAP on the nose from one of those girls. I was starting to get annoyed at them but hey, what can ya do but not really react in an entertaining way. Just shake it off and keep dancing. They got bored of the lack of reaction and left me alone after that.
Once I overheated I vacated to a place without moving bodies everywhere and held my mouth open to have the cooling system work at peak efficiency to cool my head off. Panting, I really needed to go rest and get water. Slowly gathered the other two fursuiters and we walked back to the campsite.
On the way, we got stopped by some girl "Are you the ones dressed up?" I believe the question was, and we were like "Yep!" she asked "How much do you get paid to do this?"
"We don't get paid!" said Husky
and I tacked on "Yeah! we pay just like everyone else!"
"We just do it for fun!" Husky finished with..
the girl was shocked and laughed. She couldnt believe that people did this for fun! She also was shocked when I talked and my mouth moved. We pulled our heads of because we were SO hot and we finished talking and headed back down to the campsite.
That concluded the camping trip. We burned the rest of the firewood, got out of sweaty suits, and at 2AM noticed lighting in the distance. We packed up and took down the tents... at 3:30 we got in the car, and we heared a loud BOOM! and rain started coming down in buckets. Talk about a close call! we almost got caught in tents in a SEVERE thunderstorm. it was pretty intense!
Can't WAIT to go back there 4th of july weekend!
