NoBath has always hated romance in the past because nobody showed any interest in him due to the overly stinky state of his diapers. Even girl skunks would say "Peeeuuuuw!" at him.

Having suffered heartbreak time and time again from others, NoBath decided he would break up everyone else's relationships. And did using his stink and tricks to spread woe and misery. He took delight in his actions.

His actions did not go unnoticed by the cupids who were sensing massive declines in romance which they simply couldn't allow. Master Cupid Dan sent his best cupids to bring some love and warmth into the skunk's icy heart. Unfortunately every Cupid failed miserably and came back smelly and battered having been sprayed by the skunk and he even threw balled up diaper stinkballs in their faces. There was no way to shoot him with a Cupid arrow.

Then Cupid Marshall volunteered to undertake this difficult task. He flew to Nobath's overly messy rundown block of tenements and drove him out with talc powder bombs. Nobath simply despised sweet smells. Attempts to reason with the skunk were only met with rude banter and how yucky love was.

Cupid Marshall decided to teach NoBath the hard way, avoiding his spray and stinkballs. And then it happened. Nobath let his guard down, and Cupid Marshall managed to fire a Cupid arrow from his Sacred Bow of Accuracy right into the skunk's heart.

Nobath felt strange and then wept, crying about how he tried to love and nobody loved him back and that he'd come to view love as a lost cause. Cupid Marshall let NoBath have a good cry as he gave him a much needed diaper change. Then the two shared a hug. Nobath's icy heart melted away as he had gotten the first hug in many years.

Cupid Marshall took NoBath by the shoulders and whisked him to Cupid Castle. And it was a good thing he did, for the next day the anti-cupid Valbunny wanted to claim and recruit the skunk as an anti-cupid to destroy love everywhere. He was furious that he lost a.potenial ally to his enemies.

For many weeks NoBath trained to be a Cupid and learned how to love and be loved. He became a much sweeter, nicer and friendlier skunk and every Cupid, cherub and black angel liked him. He got his very own Cupid bow and wings.

But then NoBath discovered his new talent. He was able to spray perfume and love aromas which added to the romance in the air. He used this to mend the broken hearts he had caused and became the anti-cupids' worst nightmare with his unmatched scent.

Never again would Nobath break another heart or be unloved. He had done such a great job since he enrolled in Cupid school. Cupid Marshall allowed him to stay in his quarters and called him his little brother. Nobath beamed promising he would impress everyone on Valentine's day and hopefully earn his gold wings.
