In scandinavian folklore there's a kind of being that's called either skogsrå, skogsfrun, Skogssnuvan, huldra, vittra, Elverpigen, Mosekonen or Råndan depending on where in scandinavia you are. According to some beliefs, she's related to the biblical character Lilith. Odin HATES her and tries to hunt her.

From the front she looks like a beutiful young lady, from the back she looks like an old, rotten, hollowed out tree or she has a tail. Survival tip, if you meet her and you notice a tai sticking out from behind her skirt, be very careful when callnig attention to it, say "excuse me madam, but you underskirt is showing", she'll hopefully realize that the gig is up and try to save face and get out of there.

Her hobbies include seducing hunters and steal their suls and making people ge lost in the forest purely for the lulz. howeve,r she can be helpful, if she breathes down your rifle, it'll never miss, she can help maids driving cattle trough the forest and she cna some wake people to warn them about fires.

Yeah, I love folklore, this is sorta my own take on the character, it has very little to do with any traditional depctions. A lot of inspiration came from my favorite fantasy/fairy tale illustrator, John Bauer.
