Fun fact, I'm doing inktober, I'm keeping it relegated to deviantart since I'm not gonna bother uploading to all my art pages.

Thanks for the DA link!
(I really gotta git mah tush in gear and head over there. I foresee FA not being a viable site for much longer.)
Hiking. *sighs* Oh, how I LOVE (And miss) doing it!
What I absolutely HATE about it (And you included this in yer piccie): TRASH LEFT BY OTHERS!
The truly most-heinous thing(s)? When peop,,, no, that's far too kind a word,,, when ASSHOLES VANDALIZE/DEFACE things! (I gotta watch my B.P. typing this one!).
I go out into 'Nature' to get AWAY from humanity (inasmuch as One possibly can. :: Looks up at all the friggin' contrail graffiti :: ), not have it shoved into my face everywhere I turn.
Nowadays, to achieve that level of escapism, takes real effort.
Gettin' Olde, my parts refusing to obey me if I try to force them to go beyond their ability (Or more likely, MY being able to ignore their protests/pain signals), keeps me humanity-bound, and that just sucks.
Still, I have the memories, and I have the years enjoyed in the pursuit of them!
btw, have you ever heard/seen that *WONDERFUL* Series about Richard Proenekke, who ventured out into the wilds of Alaska, built his own cabin, and stayed there for many years (Until HIS health demanded he return to 'Civilization.' To die. ick...)? It was all over the 'PBS' channels when it first appeared on TV, but can still be found online (And the Series purchased if you wanted to).
Now, we see that series 'Alone,' which I ADORE (Though there is NO WAY'n HELL I'd ever venture out like that, WITHOUT proper means of preserving my hide/life vs the apex predators that live there!).
Really makes ya think (And appreciate?), our modern conveniences!
I've rambled too long. Apologies. This piccie just really hit me hard (In mostly good ways!).
Sitting out, alone, gazing at Nature. Seeing the sunrises and bird chorus (Or not, depending on certain regions) of an awakening world, or the opposite: sunset, and the settling-down of said world?
No concert made my Mankind can equal those, an' I don't care what anyone says! (Sorry Journey, AC/DC, RUSH, et al. I wuvs y'all, dearly, but...)

Yarp yorp!
There's a bit of a story shown within this illustration (along with the piece for the prompt "trek", on my deviantart), with a clue being the abandoned somewhat buried car off to the side.
With the upcoming prompts, I'll expose more of what kind of story I'm getting at here, as they fit my idea quite nicely
