Siddy's Mom and Dad take him to see his grandparents. He always like to visit them because Nana always has fresh cookies made just for him. When they get there Nana is just finishing the last batch of cookies and ask mom and dad to help her, leaving little Siddy with poppop.

Poppop was a big mouse, often mistaken for a rat but he was as gentle as a butterfly when it came to his grandson. He toss Siddy in the air and catch him, ride his knee like a horse, and tell Siddy all sorts of stories, even if Siddy did not quite understand. They was having lots of fun but poppop did not have the energy he once had, and soon grew tired and nodded off.

Siddy squeaked to get poppop's attention but he was fast asleep. Siddy then noticed poppop's glasses. He always said he can not see without them. Sid managed reached up and pulled them off poppops muzzle, looking thou the lens everything look so big and wobbly , making him giggle.

Just then Nana came in with a plate of cookies. "ohohoh, you are just darling."

She said picking up Siddy off poppop's lap and removing the glasses from his little paw but whined he reached for it wanting to play with his new toy.

"Poppop needs his eyes little one, how about you come with me and we will have a cookie." He nodded and wiggled happy in Nana arms could not wait to get Nana's yummy cookies.
