Quitting twitter and normie social media has probably been the best decision I've made in years, if not my whole life. Ever since I left twitter in particular (or I guess you could say I "boke up with my X", HA!), it feels like I can actually hear myself think again. And the world that the only real me is living in, is finally a happy one.

I've described it in my journal posts before. The best words I have for it is "seeing the world in brighter colors". And, given the scene sparkledog vomit that is this art post? I hope this sends the message of exactly what I mean.

The world feels like my own again. I'm smiling, I'm very aware that my existence as a person [if flaunted on normie social media] would make people want to hurt me, but I'm finally done caring what other people think. I'm finally back to listening to all my favorite scene/EDM music that twerpy little tiktok kids told me is "so last year" and got me embarrassed about. I'm finally back to playing all my favorite offline video games, not giving a heck what any stupid youtubers might think of my strategies and playstyles. I'm finally done letting the bickering and complaining of both critics and overgrown children (but what's the difference, really? XD) control the artwork and writing that expresses my very soul.

As the new zany saying for it goes? Touch grass. Unplug for a while. You might find the same euphoria I've been feeling, and I wouldn't trade this experience of a lifetime for anything. <3
