Day 7

"I took a shaky step forward, and the ground crumbled underneath me. I felt myself slipping, and my efforts to keep myself on steady ground were null. I could tell I was falling off the cliff, and I knew I was a goner. But then...that strange pokemon I met...he leapt into action. He caught me with his front paws, staying still so the ground wouldn't give out underneath him too. I was trembling in terror, but I saw a look in his eyes. One I had never seen from any desert pokemon. It was compassion, concern, and relief. I carefully climbed up his arms, back to solid ground. He backed up, taking a glance below. I was safe, and I...felt indebted to him. He was a hero. He was my hero..."

Today's theme is hero, and I thought about what to draw. I have many hero characters, but I felt it best to do something I thought would be meaningful. My character Pyro being given a loyal vulpix named Koff, deemed a hero in his eyes.
