For Day 7 of Monster Month I decided to draw a representative from one of my favorite 4Kids cartoons growing up- Chomp from Dinosaur King. I swear between the show's earworm of an intro song, the strange decision to mix traditionally animated anime characters with cgi dinosaurs, as well as a bunch of the English cast for Pokemon lending their talents to this series, this series is ridiculous, and I love it. It follows a young boy named Max Taylor and his friends who stumble upon some strange stones with symbols on them and a card inside an opened stone egg, Max soon finds that the stone has the ability to make a triceratops appear from the card, though thankfully the triceratops has a smaller more marketable form, though since it has a tendency to bite things in his smaller form, Max decides to call the triceratops Chomp. There was a lot more to the show, more dinosaurs to discover and fight, move cards to help the cast get the edge in battle, but overall you get the gist to the series, what more can be said but, Make your move.
