It must have been amazing in it's hey-day. The medieval town below, which is significantly later than the castle was started, was just too much cute!!! It must cost an immense amount to own one of the cottages. There was a farm below the castle, on the north side. I joked that'd be my retirement home when I'm rich. I was informed I'd have to convince the national trust to give it up! ha. ^___^
