Today, was Milky's birthday, and coincidentally the deadline for a piece of a group I joined for exactly no other reason than to have some inspiration to make this piece. Milkshake is growing so quickly man, I love her to pieces and so Raven and Beatrice threw her a party in the park of Possum Springs, the autumn colours really making her dress up party a little more interesting.
Milkshake stepped out of the lavatory, her costume was bathed in the glow of the afternoon sun, orange hues dyed the world in a blaze of new appearances. She didn't have long to take it in as her folks, siblings and guests would be expecting her very shortly. Her aunt Garuda was a seriously talented seamstress, she felt like the phoenix inspired dress was such a perfect blend into the opening days of Autumns keen embrace.
Slowly and carefully she meandered her way through the treelined path, the chirping birds offering a blissful comfort to this otherwise short walk. Her hooves paused at the edge, where shadow met sunlight, everyone was waiting for her, she wanted to make a good first appearance. So she practiced this execution for a few attempts, she wanted it to look as good as it would get before a familiar voice calls out, "Milks, what are you doing? C'mon, we can't start without the lady of the hour." Beatrice completed waving her over.
It was now or never, She reached into the little satchel she'd been clinging tightly too and spread a portion of it contents into the air, the light blue glitter would be a contrast to her otherwise warm dress, the objects becoming stars on her cloak into the night. With flair akin to a professional she stepped elegantly through the last break of Shadow and true to it's purpose, the glitter found it's mark.
The afternoon was one of revelry and merriment, Milkshake indulging in the attention, her family, her friends, all some part of her memory that she may treasure... forever...
Love ya lots Milks
Had a blast making this for my little Milky
