Happy Birthday to my BeaBea, this was a moment after Milks had Raven distract her and pushed her in, only to push Chuckles in shortly thereafter^^. Enjoy...

The splatter of the pool spread across the otherwise dry bricks surrounding the body of water. The Crocodile's surprise was quickly halted by a pair of obnoxious laughs, two tones she recognized well, she knew why, for a moment she was simply bewildered before turning to face them. Milkshake though laughing made her way into some bushes where she seems to have appeared from to ambush her. But Raven... the lynx was hunched over hysterically laughing at the outcome, Beatrice couldn't hold her smile back, it was a strange feeling indeed.
"Raven, Milky!" Beatrice called letting a slight chuckle slip through her otherwise confused and strangely joyous expression, splashing some water back at Raven as he simply refused to contain his own laughter.
"Hey, don't blame me..." Raven started trying desperately to gasp for breathe, "blame the fine lady of the woods back there." Raven finished as he gestured toward the bush line still holding inklings of his own laughter.
"And my make up, did either of you consider that? You really want me to spend more time in front of the mirror?" Beatrice asked rhetorically, of course they thought about it, she taught Milks all she knew about the application after all. Just then she looked to her left and saw Chuckles walking toward them, she called out, "Chuckles, don't..." She tried but failed to stifle her laughter, interrupting her attempt to save the young isopod.
"Mom?" Chuckles called as he started to jog over, only to be interrupted by a grip from Milkshake as she appeared from the bush line and flung the both of them into the pool. Beatrice looked over and heard another bout of Wheezing, Raven firmly laying on the poolside as he let his raw emotion pour out in a very vocal fit of laughter. A second or two later both teens appeared from the newly formed waves, both laughing hysterically.
Beatrice smiled gently, "You okay Chucks?" she asked, small giggles breaking through her words.
"Yeah mom, I'm fine" Chuckles answered, a firm but warm smile gracing his face. The meteor shower that Raven told her about had begun... It was gorgeous, 'but only one thing is missing' Beatrice thought, now looking to her dear Cat still attempting with little success to stop laughing.
"Raven, do you mind helping me out?" She asked him a sly smile creeping onto her face.
"Yeah, Sure" he responded through his fit of sheer glee, he did however fail to notice her expression and would quickly find this to be costly. Offering his hand to her and as she took hold of it her feet quickly found the pool wall, and with a hefty pull Raven plummeted into the water quickly recovering and rising up from under it. Laughter permeating the air around him as he saw both Milkshake and Chuckles pointing and splashing in their personal enjoyment. Beatrice was laughing very heavily, a rare but very welcome sight, even Moonshadow, who hadn't wanted to swim came out to see what all the commotion was about. She herself holding her paws to her mouth as she laughed uncontrollably as well.
Raven joined the family in the revelry which was slowly replaced by a sense of awe as the meteor shower stole their attention. The lights flickering throughout the sky, reflecting off the water and truly holding a sense of majesty and stunning beauty. "About time the rest of them showed up" Raven whispered, gently wrapping his arms around Beatrice.
"What?" She whispered back.
"The falling stars, it's about time the rest made it down."
"What do you mean?" Beatrice asked with confusion, expecting a very cheesy joke or some over romanticized statement.
"Well I mean, clearly they weren't able to fall with you..." Beatrice blushed, there it was, one of his insane one liners that just skirts the line of being so damn cheesy that it's hard not to find it adorable. Her smile widened as she rested her head against his, the two nuzzling each other ever so gently.
'The stars are Beautiful' Raven thought, 'but none of them compare to the most beautiful creature he held so close, I mean hell, you can't spell beautiful without my Bea'
The family waited and watched the shower of falling light for minutes, what felt like a dream stretching for hours.
