After a little while, Pidge started visiting on occasion, the orphanage thought it would help her feel more safe, to have someone close to her age to talk to. Milkshake and Pidge got along fairly well despite the personality gap, it also helped that Pidge made the effort to include Milky's siblings a lot.

It always felt like Pidge was more of a ghost though, her ability to light up the atmosphere or the mood was palpable, but fleeting. Pidge, almost seemed like she was trying to leave a beautiful mirage of happiness before vanishing.

A hope, a beautiful hope, but for now she's enjoying what little freedom she's afforded. A soul like a beautiful star breaking through the night sky.
