Void and Astra were walking circles around their campsite enjoying the glistening of the moon and the crackling of the fire. Astra had been having a hard time at work and Void thought this might bring him back down to earth, the wilderness always managed to bring he and his brother to some amount of peace. Astra felt a little out of place out here, ever the busy body he was, watching Raven and Void set up both tents while Bea made dinner, he tried getting a couple sticks and dead branches for the fire, but found most everything was still very green and healthy. He then tried pumping the bed only to be told by the others it's best to do it when your ready for bed.

Astra found he didn't really have a lot to do, so he double checked every 5 minutes if anyone else needed help but time and again he was turned down. Void realized his bird was very fidgety and decided to ask him to help him with the tarps and grabbing some snacks from the car.

Eventually everything died down and evening turned to night, Beatrice went to bed and Raven helped her set up the electric blanket so she'd actually be asleep in a couple minutes and joined her after some conversation with Void and Azzie.

With Raven retiring alongside his crocodile, Astra and Void got to talking.

"Void... I'm not sure about this"
"Whaddya mean Azzie?" Astra fiddled a little with one of the branches he brought back
"Just, I haven't really done anything, y'know, useful..." Void placed a hand on Astra's lap
"Azzie, the whole point was for you to relax a bit." Astra paused and stood, walking slightly to the vacant chair.
"I dunno, I just need to do something when I'm, out of my comfort zone..." Astra stared at the fire for a bit before he felt a tug at his hand and the warmth around it.
"C'mon I wanna show you something." Void guides Astra away from the campsite.

Astra would see more stars than he had since he first came to the city, Void and he would pace for a couple of hours, talking about the mundanities, holding each others hands and just enjoying the serenity. Later a little less restraint would be used to alleviate the stress Astra was feeling.
