This reminds me of a long, long time ago when I was walking along a trail in Tasmania at night (don't ask me why I was doing something this strange). It was dense forest, like temperate rainforest. Suddenly I started seeing these bright blue points of light around me. It was nearly complete darkness otherwise. It was so surreal and magical I almost doubted it was happening. I still don;t actually know what it was, but I assume it was some sort of bioluminescent fungi.
