Went to the Trona Pinnacles briefly this evening with 
Athus so he could see them for himself and I could try my hand at some super long exposures with my 9 stop ND filter. I'm not too happy with how the pictures came out honestly, this lens is really showing its limitations with CA and edge sharpness. I might see about sending it in and having them realign the center structure...after Yosemite.
What I did: raw tweaks, custom white balance (using threshold trick), Maximum White black and white, and edge sharpen to try and salvage things.
