Float like a butterfly... sting like one.
Ever since I used a Beautifly to utterly crush four of the five Elite Four members in Brilliant Diamond, I took quite the liking to it. And since the Pokédex says they are vicious, why not make one that is a vicious boxer?
The name comes, as usual for a butterfly-related character, from "Papillon" (french for "butterfly"), and also from the fact "Papi" is Spanish from "daddy".
