In my quest to recover, I continued work on stuff I was doing. This is number 2 of the sisters. Pai was the mute. Aoi, is the wild-card, and ironically, the deaf one...
Name : Aoi Kato
Alias : Deaf Devil, Ai, Hear No Evil.
Age : 21.
Hair Color : Silver with Green Tips.
Eye Color : A Haunting Purple.
Race : Serian (A Alien Race, well into battling and Traveling)
Skin Color : Caucasian Yet slightly Tanned.
Height : 6’ 2”
Weight : 471 lbs (bone n muscle, can change with power enhancement along with height)
Family : Uranko (Father), Telula (mother), Miko (Older sister), Pai (younger sister)
Occupation : Martial Artist, Assassin.
Build : Impressivly muscled and ripped yet feminine ...
Personality : Aoi is one with a shorter temper compared to her sisters. Aoi usually hates being looked down upon, and will do anything within her power to make sure her skills are well known and you know and fear her. Aoi can be friendly, but takes a while for her to open up and to begin talking to people. When in battle, Aoi can be either very cocky, very out of it, or very in the zone. Shes is at her most dangerous when shes focused and not willing to step down. Her drive is usually broken when its made evident she either has no chance, or something much more threatening is on its way...
Likes : Tricking People Into Thinking she can hear them, people who find her hot, people who try to let her listen to their music although she cant hear it. Pai‘s cooking, Miko‘s sense of humor, challenges.
Dislikes : People who know ahead of time that she cant hear before shes able to trick them, Slackers, People who aren’t honest in battle, Not being able to improve if the time came, Her Father, people who mess with her sisters.
Danger Level : Aoi is in another league when it comes to battle. Pai is considered a fighting prodigy and very impressive. Aoi is considered to be extraordinary, with her senses and how she uses them in battle. She is ruthless, and pain is something she welcomes with open arms, as she will usually push harder when injured. She is considered a XX rank fighter, with X- rank physical endurance and focus. Her mind ablities are considered as SSSS+ rank, and her physical strength is considered X+ rank. Her spiritual energy is considered a X+ rank also. Taking these into account, her overall danger rank is at XX++.
In the eyes of Aoi Kato, she felt like she was always in the shadow of her elder sister. Although she knew her elder sister always meant well with whatever she did with her, Aoi felt like she had to be better. They were both great, although they were a bit small for the average Serian child, a problem constantly seen with Kato children. Aoi and Miko were great in their mothers eyes. But Miko was seen as a true perfect child because of not being disabled… as for Aoi who was deaf since birth, he saw as a evil bastard child who was followed by another.
Aoi not only became closer to Miko over time, but she also began building a very close relationship with Pai, their recently born mute sister. Aoi felt somewhat clearly wasn’t right was coming. Aoi was correct, A chain of life altering events was on the horizon, and the sisters were not ready for what was coming. Their mother had left on an expedition, and told her daughter via sign language that she would be back when she could. Uranko was very much sane for about half a week, until his anger and abuse finally began to kick in. Miko, 4 years older than Aoi decided she would go off and learn how to fight, to protect the objects of the mans anger, Aoi and Pai. She told Aoi where she would go, and how Aoi could find her, if things got so bad. But she wanted Aoi to come for her, only if it was that bad. The two saying their goodbyes parted ways, and made Uranko use his twisted mind to think that Aoi scared Miko off because she was too “different“..
It was horrible. Aoi didn’t know of what her father was doing to Pai, all she knew was that Pai was never sleeping alone. Aoi was constantly left outside, beaten and bruised, always being attacked via bat or whatever weapon he could get his hands on. Aoi bled frequently, and at one point and time was so damaged, that medically another smack could have made her a quadraplegic. It was destroying her mentally, and she could tell from Pai‘s lack of life in her eyes, that this couldn’t be held on for any longer. Aoi felt like she had to go to Miko to get help, and in order to do so, one of them had to stay behind. To make sure their father didn’t go off, and try and fabricate a story. Pai and Aoi drew straws, Aoi got the longer one, Pai got the shorter one, and had to stay behind. It was a long, sad emotional night, but Aoi was on her way by morning, forcing to leave poor Pai with the man inside.
5 years had passed since she last saw Miko, and she knew that Miko had to have made some progress by now. She arrived at the temple she was told by Miko that she could be found at, but she was not there. Infact, the master there said Miko had left his care a year ago, and had informed her of the new temple where Miko was. When Aoi arrived, the servants quickly tended to heal her, and the relieved Aoi was so glad of the hospitality she was reciving. But what came next was what shocked her the most. A well muscled Miko stood before her, with ghastly Ice blue eyes. Miko began to explain to her via telepathy what had happened, and Aoi explained verbally what had happened. Without a minute to spare, she informed her master that she needed to finish business, and left with Aoi to deal with the father they hated so. They arrived before he was to rape Pai again, and in a blind rage, Aoi saw Miko anihilate him, pounding him into a stain, and killing him.
Miko knew that her sisters couldn’t live like this for much longer. It was in that moment she made a decision. She began to speak telepathically to them, something they had never heard. Miko informed them, that she would take them to two people she studied under in her several years away. She informed them, that in 8 years time, they should all return home, so they may pick up where they left off. Although Miko told her this, she was still in awe. Her sister, had the ability to decimate him in such a quick, ruthless manner. She wanted the power Miko had…or something even greater.
Miko had dropped Pai off at her first master‘s dojo, and Miko took Aoi with her to her current master, Bie-Zheng. Bie-Zheng awaited for Miko to teach her sister telepathy, making things so much easier for her to learn. As Aoi learned telepathy, her pride in herself was boosted greatly, as she smiled almost as frequently as she did as a child. Miko felt at ease knowing she brought her sister into a form of happiness again, and had once again needed to part ways with Aoi. When Aoi asked why, Miko simply replied, “I must move on. See you in a few years.” And disappeared..
Aoi‘s need to be better than Miko set back in, and the girl trained almost nonstop, it was seen as an obsession. Bie-Zheng taught her how to read lips so well that Aoi knew exactly people would be saying. He also trained her extremely hard in feeling vibrations, and disruptions in the air, allowing her to have senses that her ears would usually allow for her to have. As she trained her senses harder and harder, Aoi’s personality changed from a anxious, meek child seeking attention, to a calm, bold, and very willing to learn teenager. When Bie-Zheng saw her focus like that, he smiled, this was all he needed to see.
Aoi’s mental and peripheral skills were still growing, but now she needed something that Miko had, that she wanted badly. A strong body. She began training physically like a mad woman, and worked on her fighting style as best as she could, trying to learn the ins and outs of the style. Bie-Zheng didn’t teach her the style he taught Miko, for he knew Miko and Aoi had different styles, and their hearts would be in different places for when they were in battle. Aoi was very good at the Zatoh-Ryu style, and made use of two black bladed sai which middle blade was about 3 feet long, it was an odd version, one Aoi took to with heart. Bie allowed her the weapon, seeing how she was now 19, he felt that Aoi’s training was somewhat complete. He told Aoi that all that was left, was “Experiment…and grow with your style. When you do so, and you’ve grown as much as you can, return here.” Aoi understanding, left.
Aoi’s preparation was far different than what Pai did. Aoi became a freelance assassin who often killed in very violent ways with little remorse for whoever her target was. She was well respected, and was called the deaf devil, or Hear No Evil. Enjoying her run, she noticed it was getting to the time that she and Pai promised to meet Miko. She finally returned home, to see Pai standing there, also much stronger looking than before. The two began to talk, Aoi using her voice, Pai using telepathy, and they had shared stories and compared experiences, until Miko had arrived. This was her chance! Her chance to prove to Miko she was ready to move out of her shadow. The two thinking they had a chance together attacked…and lost as fast as they came. Pai smiled, Aoi, quietly cursed it, but eventually lightened up, and Miko laughed all the way through. The three sisters soon caught up and all decided that if anything, they would need to begin picking up their lives, while building newer ones for themselves.
Aoi finally accepted how Miko was never out there to hurt her feelings or for her to look bad. Miko wanted her to grow, and all she needed to do, was to comply. But Aoi just never listened. Aoi now gives herself the duty of not only guarding Pai, but to also prove to Miko , that those 8 years, were time well spent…
Hope yall like.
