There's a little downside about Eduardo having long shaggy fur.
It tends to make him a liitle too warm, especially when it comes to falling asleep in warmer weather. Cold fall or winter weather is perfectly fine, but hot spring or summer nights makes it harder for Ed to sleep if he changed. The added heat from his fur make almost all sheets and blankets uncomfortable for him. Due to his canine physiology, all Ed could do is pant all night, disrupting his sleep even more. This results in Eduardo waking up off balanced and grouchy (sometimes).
