This is in her hometown, on the island of Datun. In Datun culture, drinking more than a shot of sweet liquor for desert to round out a meal is, funnily enough, frowned upon. However, since alcohol is legal galaxy-wide, there are a few bars in major cities catering to aliens or more liberal locals. Nunuuj has never been too much a stickler for her culture's rules: the dark blue cloth she's wearing is what would normally be a tunic, but she prefers to wear half-tunics, and have the loincloth do the heavy lifting re: modesty. Such dress isn't as scandalous in Datun as it would be in most Earth cultures, but it raises some eyebrows. Not that she cares too much, though: she spends most of her year at her job as an art history professor at a university abroad. Despite having been married twice and having five kids (all raised by their fathers), she's single and putting herself out there.
