Eternal Fugitive - Ch. 1: A Dying Brain's Dream
Eternal Fugitive
A Slice of Life Story About a Boring Person's Mundane Life Becoming Mildly More Interesting
Poorly Written and Pretentiously Pseudo-Philosophic Post-Transformation Furry Cringe
Chapter 1: A Dying Brain's Dream

(Notice: This story begins with a 0th chapter.)
CW: There's a brief mention of mild gore (some blood and a bit of entrails being vomited up, no wound) on the last quarter of page 7!
(However, everything else of the story is very much "general", which is why I elected to keep the rating.)Overview over the whole story:
Post-transformation slice of life.
A young man in modern day Germany mysteriously and suddenly gets turned into an Avali and now has to live with it. Both a lot and surprisingly little changes in his daily life.
The narrative focuses on post-transformation (the actual transformation itself isn't even described) and follows him through initially dealing with his new body, its senses and needs, and, later on, "normal" daily life.
A handful of other people also transformed into various beings and society is unusually uncaring and accommodating.
Excerpt from this chapter:
Still staring at my arms, panic rising again, my mind raced, "great! Shrinking? Wings? I’m hallucinating and going insane! How nice, I randomly received crippling brain damage out of nowhere. Thanks! Just what I always wished for.Or i'm still unconscious and experiencing an exceptionally realistic dream. That’s a friendlier scenario, I think. How long will it take until someone comes looking for me? A week? Probably less, my parents will get worried if they can’t contact me for a few days. Will I survive that long? Will I ever wake up again?
Or, even better: I did actually die and this is a dying brain imagining a new reality in its final moments with oxygen! How long will my brain drag out those final moments into this dream? Only minutes? Days? Maybe years?"
"What grim thoughts..."
"I-... I should probably enjoy it while it lasts, whatever it actually is. What else am I to do? Wallow in self pity? No matter what, my life as I knew it is over," I concluded as my panic subsided just as quickly as it came. I barely even questioned why I was so nonchalant, even excited, about all this all of a sudden.
"Did I already... accept this dream? Or is my brain forcing me to do so?"
Word count: I aim for each chapter to have around 5000 words.

Eternal Fugitive will be the only TF-content I intend on creating for the foreseeable future.
If you're here from my other art and dislike this sort of content, feel free to ignore this (however, I'm happy if you give it a read regardless).
If you're here only for TF-content, I'm sorry but you won't find anything more than this story in my gallery (however, maybe you'll enjoy my usual art regardless).
Maximilian Schröder and the story of Eternal Fugitive were created by me.

Good news: You're alive! Bad news: You look like you just murdered someone. Clean up the scene of the transformation and the toilet and enjoy the bathtub again, if you have one.
Just happened upon this while browsing transformation stories. Good stuff so far; looking forward to more.

It'll be a while before he finally gets around to cleaning the scene, dealing with an existential crisis, his parents, and (sooner than later) the authorities takes priority over cleaning a small puddle of already dried blood. ;)
Thank you for both the comment and the watch! :D
I'm happy to hear that you've enjoyed the story so far and I hope you'll enjoy the coming chapters. However, I'll forewarn you that it's a, comparatively, very slow story.

The guys in the sewer will be wondering about the entrails, for sure. They might lose their lunches over it themselves... Then again, they've probably seen it all before. Who knows what other people flush down the toilet. Better hope the entrails went down the toilet like a torpedo down a tube, or the plumber might lose his lunch. Maximilian should at least clean himself up, though. Blood and plushies do not mix.
Don't worry, he'll clean himself in due time.
Though, the entrails clogging the toilet is an interesting point, maybe I'll get back to that... On the other hand, I'm already up to writing chapter 9...
Ehh, I proclaim that the toilet is strong enough, especially with the entrails not being particularly solid.
