Looks like someone got sick of Arkai and decided to turn him into a stone statue using a powerful rune. And what a beautiful object he makes ! Of wourse, he'll never know what happened to him as now, his soul is long one, and there's nothing left other than his empty stone body. The statue was probably wearing clothes but the culprit must have taken them off so he could admire the beauty of such an artwork. Who knows what may happen to it next ? Displayed somewhare ? Or maybe turned into rubble...

OH wow so good to see more of your art again as it really hits the right parts of petrification and peril! That and your little stories along with them really set the stage :D
Hmmm a shame that Arkai got transformed, I do wonder who got annoyed and who took all his clothes, not that it needs them as you said. My vote would be for it to be displayed or owned like a good thing, but being made into rubble has its own perks.
