After experimenting with this and another picture that I did I thought it was time to finish this one.
This was inspired by the origanal film which was live action and featured an animated dragon.
This origanlly came out in 1977 and was directed by legendary animater Don Bluth about a dragon named elliot who helps an orphan boy find a good home.
I mentioned I wasted my time in LCFE where I was doing art I didn't fancy but I was allowed to paint the backround and Pete to get the hang of paint colours.
I then recently merged the pictures on photoshop using the lasso tool, the drag tool, the magic eraser tool, auto transform and modifiedn it a bit as some of the backround was bare.
Anyway I'm really happy with this picture and I hope my skills will improve with time.
I also hope you enjoy this picture as much as I did making

I dunno but he was a diificult person to work with.
I had a Judo instructer in Limerick (Ireland) who said he worked on 'Thumbilina' as one of the animaters. Don Bluth was very demanding. Shame he didn't have the common know how to keep his company going as long as Walt or Pixar. I'm only saying this as I don't want some codger roaring at me and telling me I'm wrong.
