Tera approaches and drops a pile of boards onto the work bench. He sits down, picks up the hammer and starts prying nails out of them.
Victor: (O.S.) "Mister Tera?"
Tera pushes the wood back and looks off to the side. Victor appears peeking up at him from behind the table.
Victor: "So, not that we don't appreciate the effort, but... You've been at this for, like... Sixteen hours now, we think. We already slept on the floor. We can do it again if you need a break."
Tera shakes his head.
Victor: "Okay. Is there, um, anything we can do to help?"
Tera smiles and gives Victor a pat on the head. He picks up the hammer and pulls a board towards him.
Charlie: (O.S.) (muffled) "Umm... Tera?"
Charlie's arm pokes out of Tera's mouth and feels around.
Charlie: (muffled) "Look, I... I'm sorry I let the bunny escape. And that I looked through your posters... And laughed at them..." (he starts petting Tera's nose) "Really, I... I think it's cool that you were the runner-up in a clown-off."
Quick shift to a stack of framed posters against the wall in a corner. The top one depicts Tera in sad clown attire, identified by the caption as 'Bunglesome Boofer,' from the waist up in a hole in the stage, frowning and holding both ends of a jump rope.
Shift back to Tera at the bench.
Charlie: "So, like... Can I come out now? I promise I'll be good. Just... Please don't swallow... Or belch..."
Charlie's keeps petting Tera's nose. Tera pauses, except for his tail, which starts to wag.
Victor: "I think he likes the petting Charlie. But don't pet him too much or he might decide to keep you in there."
Charlie freezes.
Charlie: "P-please don't do that." (resumes petting Tera's nose) "You wouldn't, would you?"
Tera looks down at Victor, winks at him, and resumes prying nails.
