The soft gap in shading on the belly has always been a big complaint with some people. The reason it has always been there is because I have always textured by grid and eye, and whenever I shaded there the seam stuck out terribly. I am sure others had found manual ways around it, but I never delved that far as the technique worked at the time.
But now that my new computer can handle more interactive programs, here is the new “seamless” belly. I could of course do more detail, but for now I prefer the smooth low detail look on the Rhebuk!
